Step 1: Request Application - Once you request to receive insurance applications forms, a licensed representative from National Quotes Online will contact you to prepare the required forms with easy to follow instructions. The examiner will bring the prepared forms to you for signature.
Step 2: Physical Exam - We will have your insurance carrier's paramedical examiner contact you and set up a convenient appointment for a physical exam. The physical exam can take place in your home or office, and is performed by a medical professional at no cost to you. (The insurance company pays for the exam).
Step 3: Underwriting Process - All Insurance companies will have their underwriters review your application before issuing your policy. This process typically takes 3-6 weeks depending upon how fast you schedule you paramedical exam and that all additional request are met in a timely fashion.
Step 4: Your life insurance coverage begins once the policy has been issued and all of the delivery requirements have been returned to the insurance company. Delivery requirements may include a premium payment, statement of health, delivery acknowledgement form or amendment of application.
Once your application, initial premium, and completed medical examination have been sent to the insurance company, you may be eligible for temporary conditional insurance while your policy is being approved. Terms and conditions vary from company to company, but are explained in detail on your insurance application.
Step 5: Free-Look Period - All Insurance Carriers are required by law to give policy holders a free-look period to review their policy and give you the option to cancel within this period. The free look differs by state however, the minimum is 10 days.
